The Maintenance Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the maintenance function to ensure the property is well-maintained, safe, and operating efficiently. This role coordinates and directs the work of maintenance technicians, housekeepers, and groundskeepers, providing guidance, training, and quality oversight while maintaining high standards of safety, timeliness, and professionalism.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of property maintenance experience, including 2 years in a supervisory or lead role
- Strong knowledge of building systems, safety standards, and preventive maintenance practices
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform maintenance duties that require standing, walking, or climbing for extended periods
- Comfortable working in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions
- Tool requirement - Must provide required tools within 30 days of employment
- Trade school or technical certification preferred
- HVAC, CPO, or EPA certification
- Maintenance experience in multifamily housing or property management environments
- Experience with property management software (Yardi Voyager, RentCafe, AIRM, LEO, Appwork, and CRM)
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
