The Ad-hoc Account Manager is responsible for working alongside Sales Directors to create pricing strategy, execute the rating of ad-hoc spot business within OEM and enterprise shipper portfolios, bringing feedback and insight regarding customer behavior to drive incremental revenue and net revenue growth.
Requirements
- Develop pricing strategies with Sales Directors to drive incremental revenue and net revenue growth
- Leverage internal and external data to execute pricing on ad-hoc, special moves, and spot opportunities.
- Create feedback loops to the sellers as well as cross functional teams regarding feedback on competitiveness, strengths and weaknesses of pricing proposals
- Complete pricing activities from receipt through final submission using working files and templates to aid in the pricing strategy
- Track and maintain submissions; notating wins and losses, projected revenue, actual revenue + margin, and relevant customer information
- Maintain and improve pricing models with internal datasets
- Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis
