Job Description
The TPL Recovery Coordinator will manage outstanding accounts and communicate with third party payors or attorneys to resolve outstanding balances. This involves initial communication with payors, submission of claim forms, and providing necessary documentation throughout the case until funds are available for settlement. The role requires strong communication, medical billing skills, and a commitment to HIPAA/FCRA compliance.
Requirements
- Investigate/Reconcile outstanding accounts with TPL payors and/or attorney representation
- Make status calls and work to resolve the outstanding account balance
- Submit claim forms and charge detail
- Gather and organize client-specific documentation
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Compliance with HIPAA, FCRA, FDCPA and other applicable laws and regulations
