2026 ADGE Sr Principal Mech Engineer - On Site

Raytheon is seeking a 2026 ADGE Sr Principal Mech Engineer to lead execution of major programs and mid- to large-scale cross-functional engineering teams across all development phases. The role is an On-Site role in Tewksbury or Andover, MA.

Requirements

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years’ experience.
• Mechanical equipment design and development experience, preferably in defense/military environments
• Proven engineering team leadership with accountability for cost, schedule, and technical performance; project budgeting and scheduling experience
• Prior Experience collaborating within Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and cross-functional organizations, including customer engagement
• Experience with hands-on mechanical design, from trade studies and concept development through production transition and supplier support
• Experience conducting RCCA, driving cost reduction initiatives, and producing technical documentation/white papers
• Broad expertise in mechanical design, materials, manufacturing processes, CAD, and PDM systems
• The ability to travel domestically and internationally
