Collins Aerospace is seeking a system administrator, software engineer, or information technology specialist to perform Air Force Distributive Common Ground System (AF DCGS) / Data and Dissemination Systems Support – Centralized (DSMC) sustainment functions across GEOINT focused software and systems. This role is for a well-established and evolving team at the 480th ISRW Langley AFB, Virginia.
Requirements
- Microsoft Windows OS administration
- Red Hat Linux OS administration
- Current Security+ or higher DoD 8570 certification
- Active and transferable TS/SCI U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
- Current DoD 8570.1 IASAE Level I certification (e.g., CASP+ CE, CISSP, etc.)
- Experience or knowledge of Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (AF DCGS) operations
- Network design and configuration familiarity
- Experience administering Cross Domain Solutions
- Experience administering VMWare (virtual machines, storage, and resources), cross-domain data transfer systems, and be familiar with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, OpenStack, Kubernetes, Docker, etc)
