Support manufacturing processes including equipment, floor layouts, work sequence, work instructions, procedures, and workflow. Conduct studies on cost control, productivity, cost reduction, inventory, and production record systems. Review products/processes for quality, safety, and producibility risks and work with design to incorporate changes to eliminate the risks.
Requirements
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field
- Prior experience in manufacturing environments
- Strong background in Root Cause Analysis
- Experience with CAD software
- Track record of driving continuous improvement in manufacturing operations
- Experience with equipment selection, deployment, and sustainment
