Industrial Engineers apply advanced problem-solving techniques and Lean Manufacturing principles to develop and optimize Microcircuit factory to maximize throughput, efficiency, and value.
Requirements
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics(STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
- Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related field
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Experience executing Operations real-time capacity, Long Range Planning and scenario planning analysis
- Experience manipulating data across Corporate business systems (similar to Raytheon's) to support Industrial Engineering analysis
- Experience with CAD software to develop factory layouts (ie. AutoCAD)
- Experience with CORE operating system or lean manufacturing best practices
- Experience with Microcircuit manufacturing in a wafer fabrication environment
- Waste stream, chemical, and layout management
- Experience with discrete event simulation modeling
- Lean/Six Sigma experience in a manufacturing environment
- Capital project management (planning through execution)
- Chemical inventory/Kanban management
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytical and creative thinking skills
- Strong time management skills, ability to multi-task and adaptable to changing priorities
- Self-starter, who can prioritize to meet various deadlines
