As a Mechanical Engineer II, you will be part of an international team of engineers responsible for innovating, designing, and maintaining designs of various galley equipment such as ovens, beverage makers, chillers, and refrigerators. Reporting to an Engineering Manager, the Mechanical Engineer will perform standard engineering assignments in support of a large project or change package.
Requirements
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations
- Proven experience analyzing and interpreting data sets using Excel or similar tools
- Mechanical engineering experience within a regulated industry (e.g., aerospace, medical, automotive)
- Experience with heating and cooling solutions
- 3D modeling and 2D drawing preparation, revision, and release using NX Unigraphics
- Experience designing mechanical components and assemblies with an emphasis on manufacturability, reliability, and maintainability
- Understanding of engineering processes and IT tools
- Understanding of electronics
