The Hardware Engineering Organization provides mechanical engineering expertise across locations in Arizona, Alabama, California, Texas, Massachusetts and Rhode Island. The mechanical engineer position includes assignments ranging from concept design, detailed documentation, structural/thermal analysis, design verification testing, production support and field support for products including radars, missiles, and command and control systems.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major
- Experience using Computer Aided Design (CAD) software, such as CREO or equivalent
- Prior engineering project experience or have completed an internship demonstrating practical application of engineering principles
- Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework or projects
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major
- Experience with Product Data Management (PDM)
- Experience with electronics packaging, radar antenna design, aerospace engineering, or precision systems
- Experience applying standard mechanical engineering design processes and adapting workflows for project requirements
- Experience collaborating within a team to achieve project objectives
