The Electronics Subsystems Products (ESP) Department in Huntsville, AL is currently searching for a Principal Product Development Engineer (PDE) with experience in circuit card/printed wiring board assembly, manufacturing, and the integrated assembly of electronic components into a subsystem.
Requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering – Electrical, or other related discipline with eight (8) years of prior relevant experience
- Minimum of eight (8) years of experience to include at least two (2) of the following categories: PCB manufacturing, Circuit card manufacturing/assembly, Experience with IPC and MIL specifications and design guides
- Active Secret DoD security clearance
- Knowledge and understanding of the PCB manufacturing and tooling process
- Experience in PCB manufacturing and/or circuit card assembly
- Experience understanding IPC and MIL specifications and design guides
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Detailed Circuit Card Assembly process knowledge and the ability to drive the component placement, component selection and material selection
- Experience with alignment and collaboration between various disciplines within the Raytheon design community to achieve organizational and programmatic objectives
