Senior Product Development Engineer

The Electronics Subsystems Products (ESP) Department in Huntsville, AL is currently searching for a Senior Product Development Engineer with experience in circuit card/printed wiring board assembly, manufacturing, and the integrated assembly of electronic components into a subsystem.

Requirements

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience
• Minimum of 5 years of experience to include at least two (2) of the following categories: PCB manufacturing, Circuit card manufacturing/assembly, Experience with IPC and MIL specifications and design guides
• Active Secret DoD security clearance
• Knowledge and understanding of the PCB manufacturing and tooling process
• Experience in PCB manufacturing and/or circuit card assembly
• Experience understanding IPC and MIL specifications and design guides
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Detailed Circuit Card Assembly process knowledge and the ability to drive the component placement, component selection and material selection
• Experience with alignment and collaboration between various disciplines within the Raytheon design community to achieve organizational and programmatic objectives
