Principal Systems Engineer

We are seeking a talented and motivated Principal Systems Engineer to join our team within the Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) Surface Radars & Sensors Center, supporting the SPY-6 Family of Radars in defining customer needs, functional and product architecture, requirements definition and decomposition, system performance, execution of system integration and analysis activities.

Requirements

• Develop concepts of operations for radar systems.
• Radar processing algorithm development.
• Radar software requirements development.
• Statistical and numerical analysis of radar performance data.
• Analysis tool development in support of problem identification and resolution.
• Working with Systems and Software Engineers to develop and implement solutions.
• Present findings and solutions to Leadership and/or Customers.
• Willingness for occasional travel to support mission execution at various facilities and test sites.
