Product Development Engineer

The Hardware Engineering Team at Raytheon provides engineering design & development services to a wide range of products within Raytheon. The Critical Item Production Readiness (CPR) department is dedicated to ensuring that every product we develop is designed with its entire production lifecycle in mind. We are seeking a Product Development Engineer to join our team in McKinney, TX.

Requirements

• Effectively communicate technical knowledge regarding design and manufacturability of printed circuit boards (PCBs) and circuit card assemblies (CCAs).
• Support the Product Development Engineering team through the application of tools to predict manufacturability performance prior to the program commitment of the design.
• Generate PCB/CCA standard notes, PreCAD data package creation, request mentor parts library elements (symbols and cells), support generation of alternative design solutions to meet or exceed manufacturability and affordability goals.
