Job Description
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to maintain and enhance our AS9100 and ISO 9001 Quality Management System. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, analytical skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Requirements
- University bachelor degree in a related field, post-secondary diploma, or the equivalent in training and experience
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience as a Quality Assurance professional and/or QMS auditor accreditation by ASQ/RAB with proven experience
- Proven experience driving successful performance of major subcontractors, suppliers and/or Inter Organization Transfers (IOTs)
- Experience with defence systems throughout the product life cycle, including design, production, installation, integration, test and sustainment is preferred
- Proficiency in quality management tools such as Apollo Root Cause Analysis, IQM, Minitab, and ETQ is highly desirable
- Bilingual (French & English) is highly desirable
- Comprehensive knowledge of ISO 9001:2008 and AS-9100/AS-9110 standards
- Knowledge of military specifications and standards an asset
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools for budget and work tracking
