Senior Mechanical Engineer

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Raytheon, you will support the development of innovative mechanical subsystems for defense products, including radars, missiles, and naval electronics. You will work with a team to create 3D design models, manage technical data packages, and resolve production issues efficiently. The role requires a minimum of 25% travel to suppliers and production facilities.

Requirements

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
• Demonstrated leadership experience as a senior mechanical engineer
• Prior experience with cost and schedule responsibilities
• Experience working across multiple product lifecycle stages of a radar production program
• Experience working across multiple functional and discipline organizations to successfully resolve technical challenges
