Job Description
We have an opportunity for an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to support our radar development programs. This person will be responsible for working with mechanical teams in all phases of our design cycles, from concept development through design, development, building and test. Key requirements for this position include proven problem-solving skills and experience in hardware design and integration, engineering analysis, and mechanical drawing creation with military hardware. Individuals will interface and collaborate primarily with other engineering disciplines, as well as operations, systems, quality and program offices.
Requirements
- Proven problem-solving skills
- Experience in hardware design and integration, engineering analysis, and mechanical drawing creation with military hardware
- Ability to work with limited supervision and meet commitments for assigned schedule, financial, and technical goals
- Experience with ANSI/ASME Y14.5 GD&T
- Experience with design to military and commercial standards
- Leadership experience in small development efforts and teams
- Experience with CREO (Pro/E) or similar 3D solid modeling software
