Senior Power Electronics Research Engineer

RTX Technology Research Center is seeking a Senior Research Engineer to join their cohesive team of research engineers and technicians. The successful candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative technologies and solve challenging problems for aerospace and defense applications.

Requirements

• Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams in areas such as high-power systems, power electronics packaging/thermal systems, and aerospace propulsion systems.
• Deliver advanced technology through creative analysis and problem solving.
• Select and deploy appropriate modeling fidelity for a given problem, including the application of high-fidelity computational models and circuit simulation tools.
• Communicate research results effectively through both verbal and written means.
• Participate in the creation of research proposals to RTX business units and government agencies.
