Collins Aerospace has an exciting opportunity for a proven Senior Principal Project Engineer to lead, develop, and establish the required technology and infrastructure for the Platform Connectivity Technology portfolio. This multi-faceted role will lead cross-functional teams through system architecture, development, integration, and testing of new systems. The ideal candidate should be an established technical leader that can leverage proven experience integrating systems onto DoD platforms. Requirements
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience or an Advanced Degree iand a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience. In absence of a degree, 16 years of relevant experience is required
- Active and transferable U.S. Government DoD Secret Security Clearance is required prior to start date
- Must have a US Department of Defense (DoD) Secret clearance. Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation/reinstatement and must meet eligibility requirements
- U.S. Citizen - U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
- Able to communicate and make presentations to senior level leadership
- Able to travel up to 25% of the time depending on the program phase
