Job Description
The Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) Surface Radars & Sensors Center is seeking a Senior Principal Systems Engineer to support the Missile Defense Sensors (MDS) department. The MDS department provides subject matter expertise for concept development, architectural design, requirements generation & flow-down, modeling and simulation, systems analysis, integration, test and evaluation of world-class Missile Defense & Sensor Systems. This position is on site in Woburn, MA.
Requirements
- Define radar system requirements
- Design architectures and algorithms in support of those requirements
- Collaborate with software development teams to ensure effective implementation
- Analyze radar system performance data with respect to requirements
- Identify performance deficiencies and propose solutions
- Define and prototyping new algorithms to enhance system performance
- Present plans, designs and system performance to peers, internal leadership and external customers
- Provide subject matter expertise to agile software development teams to ensure proper implementation of requirements
