Job Description
The Raytheon Subsystem Engineering and Photonics group is actively seeking a Senior RF Mechanical Engineer to join our group in Columbia, MD. The individual will be responsible for supporting our design and testing efforts by working with the engineering team to develop functional prototype solutions in a CAD environment and then fabricate hardware to realize those solutions.
Requirements
- Serve as a technical resource to the organization
- Collaborate in a multi-discipline team setting to solve complex engineering problems
- Create 3D CAD models and engineering drawings for RF and Photonic products designs
- Develop prototype hardware designs and coordinating fabrication
- Perform hands on integration and test support for prototype hardware
- Hold design and drawing reviews with peers and subject matter experts
- Support lab operations by designing, fabricating, and troubleshooting test fixturing and equipment
- Supplier management for built to print or build to specification RF and Photonic products
