Collins Aerospace is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Military Avionics Flight Management department in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The role involves designing and developing flight management software applications in a collaborative and agile environment.
Requirements
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
- 4+ years of experience with C, C++, DOORS, ADA, and/or Python.
- 4+ years of experience in a Software role.
- Ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance (Classified as a US Person) if needed after day 1.
- Industry Experience of Software Lifecycle Development (Design, Requirements, Integration, Test)
- Pilot/Avionics Experience (i.e. Private Pilot, Aircraft Maintenance, DO-178 Certification)
