Job Description
Perform set-up, adjustment, timing, troubleshooting, replacement and programming of electrical equipment, as well as instrumentation equipment. Contribute to customer satisfaction and work as a self-motivated individual with minimal supervision.
Requirements
- High school diploma or technical college degree in Electrical or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a food-processing environment
- Industrial Journeyman level and/or on-the-job experience with heavy industrial Electrical, Electrical Controls
- Expertise with ControlLogix, SLC5-500, Rockwell Factory Talk View, DNet, CNet, ENet IP, ISA Symbology and P&IDs
- Ability to interpret P&ID drawings and specifications, electrical design, network designs, PLC & HMI development and electrical troubleshooting
- Proficiency in the use of test instruments: volt/ohm multi-meters, amp meters, meggers, transducers, oscilloscopes and PLC based program/diagnostic panels. HMI touch screens
- Experience in Variable Frequency Drives and Kinetic drives
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics
- Pass a pre-employment drug screening test and physical and written skill assessment test
