Job Description
The Analyst, Fund Administration position is responsible for ensuring timely delivery of Financial Statements as per US GAAP, AICPA and SEC, knowledge of regulatory reports including N-Port and providing audit support. The role involves working with other teams to complete routine, project-based and ad-hoc deliverables for Russell’s fund products. The position requires good knowledge of US GAAP, Fund Accounting and ERISA regulations.
Requirements
- 1 to 2 years of work experience
- CA, CPA or similar preferred
- Bachelor’s degree, only if the candidate has vast experience in Financial Reporting as per US GAAP
- Good knowledge of US GAAP, the Investment Company Act of 1940, U.S. Internal Revenue Code, CFTC Rules, ERISA and UCITS
- Understanding of Fund Accounting for mutual funds, commingled funds, LLC funds and private equity funds
- Ability to interpret accounting/financial information and understand how it may impact the Funds’ financial statements
- Extensive knowledge of investment products and securities, including complex derivative instruments
- Working knowledge of the relationships and interactions between investment managers and administrators/custodians/transfer agents
