Job Description
Under general supervision, the Licensed Practical Nurse performs clinical tasks to keep the practitioners and providers flow of patients running smoothly. Provides patient care, prepares exam rooms, and conducts daily health center room clean-up. Assists with procedures, performs EKGs, and provides patient education.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have a High School diploma or equivalent
- Must have and maintain active Tennessee LPN Licensure
- Must maintain a CPR Certification
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds/ walk and/or stand for up to ten hour shifts-bend or stoop throughout shift
- Must have computer skills
- Must follow all HIPAA and OSHA requirements
- Must be supportive of our mission in order to provide healthcare to the underinsured and uninsured
