Carrier Sales Specialist

Role Overview

As a Specialist, Carrier Procurement at RXO, you will source, negotiate, and secure carriers to move available freight in a timely and cost-effective manner. You will cultivate strong core carrier relationships, maintain continuous communication with carriers and customers, and ensure a high-quality freight movement process.

What You Will Do

Your day-to-day will involve negotiating and securing carriers, maintaining communication with carriers and customers, scheduling pickup and delivery appointment times, and accurately maintaining and updating information in the company’s operating systems.

Why It Might Be a Fit

We are looking for someone with 1 year of procurement experience, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and the ability to exercise judgment and discretion while functioning independently within authorized limits.

Requirements

• 1 year of procurement experience
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience
• 1 year of transportation experience
• 2 years of sales or customer service experience
• Ability to exercise judgment and discretion while functioning independently within authorized limits
