Job Description
RYAM is seeking a Multi-Craft Mechanic to repair, install, and rebuild mechanical equipment throughout the mill. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of industrial maintenance experience, a high school diploma or GED, and proficiency in base craft and three additional base skills. The role requires working in a non-air-conditioned industrial environment, rotating shifts, and occasional outdoor activities in hot or cold weather.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Three (3) years of industrial maintenance experience
- Proficient in base craft and three additional base skills
- Ability to draft, read and understand mechanical drawings, machinery specifications and parts list
- Functional in three (3) additional base skills (millwright, pipefitting, instrumentation, machinist, carpentry or electrical)
- Knowledge of pumps, filters, grinders, gears, hydraulic systems, pipe installation and welding
- Basic computer and handheld devices skills
- Own a complete set of basic mechanical tools
