
Job description
As a Senior Operations Manager, you'll lead a dynamic team of people and empower others to develop their careers while developing your seniority in the transportation industry. You'll manage operations and personnel for locations with approximately 400 truck units, ensuring business objectives and labor requirements are met.
You'll oversee work analysis, vehicle planning and scheduling, scheduling and assigning work to technicians, productivity tracking and optimization, shift and shop meetings, and RO review and approval. You'll also provide leadership, training, and development to a management team and be responsible for performance management of all assigned personnel.
This position requires strong leadership and communication skills, with a proven track record of achieving desired results. You'll need to be able to build strong customer relationships, demonstrate a commitment to a safe work environment, quality execution, and customer service.
