Join Our Team as a Manufacturing Quality Engineer II! The role involves establishing and maintaining quality control systems, investigating and resolving manufacturing quality issues, and providing quality support for operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a similar technical field.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in quality engineering focusing on manufacturing quality within the electrical industry or a related industry.
- Demonstrated experience in participating in quality improvement projects.
- Proven ability to support quality problem resolutions.
- Good knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and tolerance stack-up analysis.
- Some experience with statistical analysis tools used for quality analysis.
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS), including ISO 9001.
- Some experience in process analytics with a broad knowledge of quality tools and industry metrics.
- Commitment to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the quality function.
- Good organizational and multitasking skills, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced working environment.
- Rounded attention to detail with an analytical mindset and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Good interpersonal skills to establish meaningful relationships built on mutual trust and respect, navigate and resolve conflict, moderate behaviors, and foster collaborative working relationships amongst a diverse audience.
- Good communication skills (written, verbal, listening, and presentation).
- Able to liaise with key stakeholders outside the quality function in technical and non-technical roles and present compelling information to achieve buy-in.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc), including excellent Excel skills and experience using Power BI.
