Join S&C Electric as a Manufacturing Quality Engineer III to drive quality-focused projects, improve manufacturing processes, and enhance product reliability. You will lead initiatives, analyze data, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a similar technical field
- 5-7 years of progressive experience in quality engineering focusing on manufacturing quality within the electrical industry or a related industry
- Six Sigma Green Belt Certification or higher
- Knowledge and demonstrated use of statistical analysis/SPC
- Demonstrated track record of supporting large-scale quality improvement projects
- Sound knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and tolerance stack-up analysis
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS), including ISO 9001
- Demonstrated experience in process analytics with a broad knowledge of quality tools and industry metrics
- Commitment to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the quality function
- Good project management skills, able to successfully lead small project teams through challenges
- Sound organizational and multitasking skills, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced working environment
- Sound attention to detail with an analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills
- Good interpersonal skills to establish meaningful relationships built on mutual trust and respect, navigate and resolve conflict, moderate behaviors, and foster collaborative working relationships amongst a diverse audience
- Good communication skills (written, verbal, listening, and presentation)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc), including excellent Excel skills and experience using Power BI
