Join S&C Electric Company as a Tool Design Engineer to design production tooling and support our diverse team. You'll work on-site at our Palatine, Illinois location and contribute to transforming the grid for resilient and reliable power worldwide.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a closely related engineering field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing environment involving processes and tools
- Strong drafting skills with experience in 3D CAD modeling (SolidEdge preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong organization and presentation skills, including ability to map out projects, prioritize workloads and maintain documentation
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Ability to work with people in a production/plant environment
- Proficiency in the use of PC using Word, Excel, SharePoint
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
