As an Associate Director on our Life/Health Insurance team, you will join a supportive and collaborative group of analysts with diverse backgrounds and experiences in the financial services sector. You will shape credit opinions that influence market decisions and investor confidence, and participate as a voting member of rating committees to determine outcomes that impact the broader financial services landscape.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, Mathematics, or related analytical field
- 6+ years of experience in financial statement analysis, accounting concepts and financial modeling, preferably with experience in corporate credit analysis
- Strong client-facing skills with ability to communicate complex analytical concepts to diverse audiences
- Ability to think independently and critically with strong integrity, analytical curiosity, problem-solving, and research skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) for internal and external stakeholder interactions
- Strong attention to detail and demonstrated quantitative analysis capabilities
- Ability to accurately interpret financial data and appropriately apply analytical criteria to generate key insights and conclusions
- Collaborative team player with ability to work independently and willingness to support team initiatives
- Proactive and organized with excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize multiple competing deadlines
