Job Description
Lead, Platform Engineering at S&P Global Market Intelligence: design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure, drive cost optimization initiatives, and collaborate with development teams to provide platform services.
Requirements
- 11+ years of overall industry experience
- Hands-on experience in cloud technologies such as AWS and managed container platforms
- CI/CD, GitHub/GitLab, and cloud networking
- Oracle, PL/SQL queries, Linux/Unix shell scripting, PowerShell scripting (or Python)
- Strong experience with containerization technologies and managed container orchestration platforms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Open-minded, flexible, and willing to adapt to changing situations
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed to drive projects to success
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English
