We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and skilled engineering leader to join S&P Global Energy. The team delivers sector-specific, data-rich solutions that are tightly aligned to evolving business needs.
Requirements
- 5+ years in DevOps, designing and supporting cloud infrastructure and services
- Strong hands-on experience operating a major cloud provider across compute, storage, networking, databases, monitoring, and security controls
- Comfortable working across Windows and Linux, with knowledge of modern packaging/containerization approaches
- Experience with logging, metrics, tracing, dashboards, and alerting to enable rapid detection and resolution of issues
- Hands-on familiarity with modern automated testing and release practices, including test-driven approaches where applicable
- Proficiency in one or more scripting languages commonly used for automation and systems tasks
- Strong troubleshooting and systems thinking, able to work independently and collaboratively
- Able to clearly explain technical decisions and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
