Job Description
Safe Place for Youth (SPY) is seeking a Part-Time Site Associate to provide direct assistance to youth experiencing or at-risk of homelessness. This role involves clinical engagement, case management services, and support in a diverse youth population with complex health, functional, and social needs. The associate will assist with activities like organizing events, providing case management, and utilizing harm-reduction strategies.
Requirements
- Best practice models including Housing First, Positive Youth Development, and Trauma-Informed Care
- Self-Starter skill set, requiring relationship building and trust
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Understanding of homeless services, including CES and HMIS database
- Knowledge of LA County foster care, juvenile justice systems, and housing resources
- Valid CA Driver’s License and proof of insurance
