SageSure is hiring a Manager, Actuarial to lead the Businessowners Policy (BOP) Product Development unit of their Commercial Actuarial team. The successful candidate will drive day-to-day execution, manage technical and analytical assessments, and develop and maintain advanced pricing plans. They will also lead a small team of individual contributors and communicate effectively with non-technical audiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science or STEM-related field
- ACAS or FCAS, FCAS a plus
- 5+ years of P&C insurance experience
- Strong understanding of P&C insurance products and industry
- Commercial Property or Businessowners Policy (BOP) product experience is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical resources
- Strong technical skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, R and SQL
- Proven organizational and time-management skills; strong attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills; ability to think critically and strategically
