Job Description
The Nurse Assistant is responsible for performing direct and indirect patient care tasks as delegated by the appropriate licensed nursing personnel. The primary responsibility of the Nurse Assistant is to provide basic patient cares such as bathing and hygiene, elimination and toileting, nutrition feeding and hydration, and ambulation and positioning.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Successful completion of an unlicensed assistive personnel curriculum or documented experience as a Nursing Assistant, Emergency Medical Technician, Emergency Room Technician or Surgical Technician in the past three (3) years
- BLS Certification
- Previous hospital or nursing home experience
- Previous computer experience
