Electrical Design Engineer- HAWAII

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team in remote role in O’ahu, Hawaii reporting to the main office in Tustin, California. This position is responsible for the design of building electrical systems, including power, lighting, fire alarm, and special systems, with a strong emphasis on healthcare projects.

Requirements

• Develop electrical system designs in accordance with project scope, client requirements, applicable codes, and industry standards.
• Provide engineering planning, design, and construction administration services for: Power distribution systems, Lighting and lighting control systems, Fire alarm systems, Nurse Call systems, Other low voltage systems.
• Perform existing building surveys and document current electrical and fire alarm conditions.
• Prepare, edit, and coordinate electrical specifications and construction documents.
• Author engineering reports, assessment reports, and Basis of Design (BOD) documents.
• Coordinate closely with internal project teams, architects, and other engineering disciplines.
• Participate in and lead technical discussions, design coordination meetings, and client presentations.
• Support construction administration activities, including RFIs, submittal reviews, and field coordination as needed.
• Assist Project Managers with technical input, schedule coordination, and project execution.
