Samsara is seeking a Senior Manager, Renewals - Select to lead a team of senior Renewal Account Executives responsible for retaining and expanding our most complex Enterprise and Majors accounts. The role requires a strong commercial leader who can coach sophisticated negotiations, partner cross-functionally at the executive level, and ensure operational excellence across long-range renewal cycles.
Requirements
- Lead and develop a team of senior Renewal Account Executives managing Samsara’s largest and most strategic Select accounts
- Own team performance against renewal rate within the Select segment
- Drive rigorous forecasting discipline, ensuring clear visibility into risk and opportunity 9+ months ahead of renewal
- Coach and support complex, high-value negotiations ($500K–multi-million dollar agreements), stepping in directly with executives when needed
- Partner closely with Enterprise Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and Legal to align on strategic account planning and commercial strategy
- Establish structured inspection rhythms and deal reviews to ensure strong execution across long-cycle, multi-stakeholder renewals
- Identify systemic risk patterns within the Select portfolio and implement proactive mitigation strategies
- Elevate negotiation frameworks and best practices across the team to maximize contract value and long-term customer outcomes
- Maintain high standards of CRM hygiene, data integrity, and renewal tracking across the segment
