CMP Process Engineer

Role Overview

The CMP team at Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a process engineer to work alongside a talented team of professionals. The role involves establishing and maintaining world-class process/equipment and implementing yield enhancement as a competitive advantage.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities include monitoring the wafer fabrication process, qualifying wafer fabrication processes on new tools, and coordinating scheduling of process qualifications and equipment downtime.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of prior work experience, a BS or MS in a relevant field, and experience scripting in Python or equivalent language.

Requirements

• 2+ years prior work experience
• BS or MS in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Material Science, or Computer Science
• Experience scripting in Python, VBA, or equivalent language
• Understanding of statistical methods
• Experience in Change Point Management
• Understanding of Lean, TPS, or 5S principles
• Ability to perform Structure Problem Solving (8D, 7-step, etc..)
• Experience using Software Data Analysis software (e.g. Spotfire, JMP, Matlab, etc.)
