CMP Processing Engineer

Role Overview

The CMP team at Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a process engineer to work alongside a talented team of professionals. The role involves establishing and maintaining world-class process/equipment and implementing yield enhancement as a competitive advantage.

What You Will Do

Monitor the wafer fabrication process, qualify wafer fabrication processes on new tools, coordinate scheduling, and use software to analyze data and make decisions.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience, a degree in a relevant field, and experience with scripting, statistical methods, and Lean principles.

Requirements

• 2+ years of prior work experience
• BS or MS in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Material Science, or Computer Science
• Experience scripting in Python, VBA, or equivalent language
• Understanding of statistical methods
• Experience in Change Point Management
• Understanding of Lean, TPS, or 5S principles
• Ability to perform Structure Problem Solving (8D, 7-step, etc..)
• Experience using Software Data Analysis software (e.g. Spotfire, JMP, Matlab, etc.)
