Job Description
Samtec is seeking an Optical Product Engineer to design and develop active optical transceiver solutions. The role involves working with various cross-functional teams to develop products, conduct testing, and ensure high-quality manufacturing. The position is based in New Albany, Indiana and Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.
Requirements
- Developing & writing the Engineering inputs for technical documentation.
- Reviewing opportunities and developing engineering cost analyses.
- Working with various groups to develop products and solutions.
- Identifying problems during new product development.
- Effective use of Office365 including Outlook, Excel, PPT, SharePoint, etc.
