Plating Process Development Engineer

We are seeking a Plating Process Development Engineer to research, develop, and integrate new plating/coating technology into our production processes. The ideal candidate will have a Master's or Ph.D. in Materials Science, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering, with 2-5 years of laboratory experience in chemical and/or electroplating environments.

Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. in Materials Science, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering
• 2-5 years of laboratory experience in chemical and/or electroplating environments
• Scanning electron microscope, x-ray diffraction, elemental and chemical spectroscopic experience
• Good communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and learn quickly
• Strong teamwork skills
• Lean manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Statistical Process Control, and Six Sigma training (desired)
