Plating Process Development Engineer

Samtec is seeking a Plating Process Development Engineer to research, develop, and integrate new plating/coating technology into their electrochemistry, plating, and advanced materials processes. Requirements

• Design and execute experiments related to novel materials and manufacturing processes in electrochemical deposition.
• Characterize deposited microstructures and coordinate analytical projects.
• Support research, development, and implementation of new materials and troubleshoot plating quality issues.
• Work with chemical and equipment suppliers to introduce new plating processes and analysis methods.
• Maintain lab procedure documents and meet safety standards.
