Job Description
Samtec is seeking a Plating Process Development Engineer to research, develop, and integrate new plating/coating technology into the company's production processes. This role involves collaborating with various groups to integrate new technologies and troubleshoot plating quality issues, particularly in electrochemistry and plating materials. The position focuses on innovative material solutions and process improvements.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in electro-plating, electrolytic plating, or similar processes.
- Experience with scanning electron microscopy, x-ray diffraction, and chemical spectroscopic analysis.
- Experience in Reel-to-Reel plating or Strip Line plating.
- Willingness to work in a chemical environment.
- Ability to lift and move materials.
