Representative, Outside Sales

The Representative, Outside Sales role involves developing new accounts, maintaining existing ones, and realizing margins through targeted sales and tonnage goals. The successful candidate will provide forecasts, conduct on-site sales presentations, and grow existing customer business by introducing new products and services.

Requirements

• College degree preferred
• Minimum 5 years Sales experience required
• Experience in the metals industry is preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
• Excellent organizational and time management skills as well as the ability to meet deadlines
• Must be a self-motivated and able to work without direct supervision
• Able to function effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Demonstrated ability to effectively identify, communicate and solve problems
