Welder I

Welder I role involves welding on jobs as assigned, reviewing weld quality, and performing setup and operation of machinery. Additional duties include grinding, fit-up, drilling, shearing, and assisting others. The position requires 2/3G certification and 1 year of experience welding at a 2/3G level, with a preference for 6G certification and 2-3 years' experience.

Requirements

• 2/3G certification required
• 1 year of experience welding at a 2/3G level
• Ability to work with semi-automated weld process and setup
• Understanding of blueprints and part layouts
• Ability to safely and properly rig work pieces
• Ability to safely and efficiently enter/ exit/ operate man-lifts and scissor lifts
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Ability to stand, squat, bend, crawl, and reach
• Ability to climb ladders or make use of a lift
