Job Description
Office Assistant Specialist - Billing job at San Joaquin General Hospital. Performs specialized and complex information, including specific program-related information, to managers, patients, clients, outside agencies and others. Responsible for gathering, processing and maintaining specialized and complex information related to departmental operations.
Requirements
- One year of work at a level equal to or higher than Senior Office Assistant in San Joaquin County service which includes commercial, Medi-Cal and/or Medicare electronic billing and follow-up/collections for acute care billing.
- Three years of experience performing Commercial, Medi-Cal and/or Medicare electronic billing and follow-up/collections for professional billing including at least one year functioning at a full journey level.
- Three years of general clerical, secretarial and/or office technical experience including at least one year performing acute care hospital billing at a full-journey level.
