Job Description
This is a Substance Abuse Counselor I position in San Joaquin County, California. The job involves providing group and individual counseling services to clients experiencing problems related to substance abuse, as well as conducting intake interviews, collecting client data, and maintaining records of assigned clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Current certification as an Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) Counselor
- Experience working in a substance abuse program
- Ability to maintain client confidentiality
- Knowledge of substance abuse principles and techniques
