The Safety Specialist – Facilities role ensures the safety of the Yaamava’ Resort & Casino property, including team members, guests, and the public. They work to prevent accidents, promote fire protection, and support health preservation across all operations.
Requirements
- Perform incident response to accidents, injuries, and near miss investigations
- Conduct job walks to inspect electrical installations, equipment installations, portable heater use, pool area including pool equipment, and chemicals
- Execute enforcement, conduct audits, and define opportunities for improvement to ensure exemplary regulatory performance
- Design, develop, and facilitate regulatory training programs
- Develop and implement effective safety and health risk and hazard management methods
- Manage environmental, health and safety (EHS) projects
- Lead a process for sharing of learnings and best practices throughout the property
