Job Description
We are seeking a Maintenance Operative to join our team at Lyons Court Residential Care Home in Chelmsford. The successful candidate will carry out minor repairs, maintain the home and garden, and communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues. The role offers practical training, development opportunities, and a package to help you thrive, including a contributory pension, health and wellbeing support, and company-funded training.
Requirements
- Practical experience in minor repairs, basic plumbing and DIY
- Understanding of health and safety protocols (Legionella awareness desirable)
- Ability to work well with others and communicate effectively
- Valid driving licence and access to transport
- Confidence using an iPad or laptop for compliance tasks
